Aliah University is an autonomous university under the Department of Minority Affairs and Madrasah Education, Government of West Bengal. B.Tech and PhD the university requires candidates to appear for the Aliah University Admission Test (AUAT) and meet the eligibility criteria, which typically includes a minimum of 50% aggregate in Class 12 for UG courses and a relevant degree for PG courses.
Married candidates are also eligible for admission. Students shall be admitted once in a year. Only female candidates who have passed HS or equivalent examination with PCBE and obtained pass marks in each subject (theory and practical separately) are eligible for appearing in the Aliah University admission test.
The highest package is around 10 LPA, while the lowest and average packages are 3.5 LPA and 4.5 LPA. Top recruiters include Wipro, Cognizant, Amazon, TCS, Tech Mahindra and Infosys.
