VIT’s placement process is centralised, and as per the eligibility criteria, students from Vellore, Chennai, AP, and Bhopal campuses would be attending the selection process, and we would coordinate the same.
The online tests will be conducted on the respective campuses and monitored by the placement coordinators.
If you want the interview process to be done remotely, the Vellore campus placement team shall coordinate the same as done in the last 3 years.
Physical interviews for the shortlisted students are conducted in any of the VIT campuses based on the convenience of the recruiters, and the students from other VIT campuses are virtually connected.
Students can apply for admission to VIT Vellore via the online process. The admission process is merit-based. Students must have a 12th pass certificate and an ITI certificate or diploma in Engineering or Technology in order to get admission.
Admission to a postgraduate engineering course of all the VIT institutions is determined by the Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITMEE). It will be held on April 20 and April 24, 2025, in various places across India.
To apply for the B. Tech Programme, applicants must have passed the qualifying Examination (Class 12 or its equivalent) with an aggregate of 60% or above in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (50% for applicants belong to SC/ST or Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and the North East states).
